Revealed: What Canadians REALLY think of Meghan and Harry - shock poll results

MEGHAN MARKLE and Harry may be looking forward to a fresh start in Canada, but it seems that not everyone is enthusiastic about their latest move.A recent survey conducted by Research Co asked Canadians their thoughts on current members of the monarchy, and revealed that Meghan’s favourability had fallen four points to 56 per cent, compared to that of Kate Middleton who is up at 64 percent. The most popular figure as voted by the Canadian people is Queen Elizabeth II, who had only dropped two points below her 2019 tally. One of the steepest drops in likability was Prince Harry who had dropped to 64 per cent. When Canadians were asked who they would prefer to have as the next monarch, more than a third (35 per cent) selected Prince William, while one in four (25 percent) chose Prince Charles.A group that has shown large growth, is one that believes there should be no monarch after Queen Elizabeth. The main outcome after the post-Megxit survey post is that when it comes to Canadians and the monarchy is “indifference” according to Business Insider Vancouver. They wrote:

“The proportion of Canadians who simply do not care when asked about the monarchy increased by nine points in a year.”.It comes after Meghan and Harry appeared at times strained on their last royal engagement yesterday at Westminster Abbey.Meghan was seen greeting her brother-in-law, Prince William, with a short “hi” and “hello”.Kate, according to the Mail, appeared to “blank” Harry and Meghan, while the brothers only exchanged the briefest of greetings.Harry seemed “pensive” and uncomfortable at yesterday’s service which is said to be one of the Queen’s favourite engagements.Meanwhile, Meghan looked radiant in a regal emerald green dress designed by British designer Emilia Wickstead which she paired with a hat by William Chambers, heels by Aquazurra and a bag by Gabriela Hearst.Camilla, who has recently been increasingly busy, opted to wear navy as she was spotted smiling warmly at Harry and Meghan who were in the second row.Following royal protocol, Meghan curtsied for both the Queen and Prince Charles in the Abbey, before being seated. The alleged rift between the two couples also spilt over onto Instagram, as Meghan left photos of her sister and brother in law out of her post. However, Kate on her Instagram posted a sweet tribute to her husband’s family, with a slideshow of images.Social media users weighed in on the supposed tension online. One said: “A sad note, take away this being the RF, there has to be some real emotional pain going on.William is probably still in semi shock, he never expected this, while Kate probably really misses her fun brother in law.He has been a part of her family for years, like a younger brother.and both of them are probably sad about their kids not seeing uncle Harry anymore or getting to know their cousin.”

Another replied: “No matter what decisions they have made, at the core of this they are still FAMILY.“.A third exclaimed: ”These two need to grow up and remember the Royal Family does not revolve around them! The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge show a lot more maturity.”.It comes as Meghan and Harry are finishing up royal engagements as they prepare to leave the UK on March 31.1,000 adults were interviewed online by Research Co between February 21 to February 24, 2019. The data was statically weighted.

Chamisa's lawyer spoke out about Mnangagwa's fraud evidence during the election

OPPOSITION MDC leader Nelson Chamisa will launch a renewed bid to oust President Emmerson Mnangagwa by seeking to have the Constitutional Court (ConCourt) review its own judgment based on “new evidence.”.Chamisa’s lawyer Thabani Mpofu said after studying academic works on the elections published by self-exiled former minister Jonathan Moyo, they were now making efforts to have the judgment on the 2018 presidential elections set aside. The country’s top court ruled that Chamisa had failed to prove allegations of fraud during the presidential election, a vote which left the nation polarised and violence on the streets of the capital Harare.Mpofu said the basis of approaching the ConCourt was because they now believe that the Zimbabwe Electoral Commission (Zec) presented to the courts false information and, therefore, their call for the judgment to be set aside.“The general rule is that once a final judgment or order has been given, the judge who gave it or any other judge of parallel juri...
