The letter was addressed to the heads of Harvard University and Harvard Global Health Catalyst. We collectively write to you today with profound concern over your decision to honor the First Lady of Zimbabwe,.Auxilia Mnangagwa, with an honorary ambassadorship as part of your otherwise noble institutional efforts to increase access to women’s health and to reduce healthcare disparities in the developing world.. Grace Mugabe to make a graceful exit from politics

The demise of the former president.Robert Mugabe, the man from whom Grace drew power and protection, leaves his wife now exposed. Grace, who during the greater part of husband's presidency had been focused on charity work, before later venturing into politics..With the support of Mugabe, Grace was in December 2014 parachuted to the helm of ZANU-PF Women's League, automatically qualifying to sit in the ruling party's highest decision-making body, the Politburo..The ex-First Lady then used her position and marriage to Mugabe to vilify all those she perceived to be harbouring ambitions of succeeding Zimbabwe's long-time ruler..She became literally untouchable with ministers currying favours with her to avoid being sacked by the President. The former First Lady ganged up with the G40 faction of ZANU-PF.

Hammer blow for President Mnangagwa

Former President Robert Mugabe will be buried at his rural home in Zvimba this weekend during a private ceremony after the family delivered a final snub to the government, ZimLive can reveal.. Mugabe’s body is expected to leave his sprawling residence in Borrowdale suburb where it is being kept sometime on Thursday for burial this weekend, likely Saturday..The surprise development comes as the government has drawn up plans to construct a mausoleum for Mugabe at the National Heroes Acre, a hilltop monument in Harare for leading figures of Zimbabwe’s 1970s war of independence.. But ZimLive understands the family, which had grudgingly resigned itself to a burial at the shrine, has now reconsidered. Key considerations, a source said, were the cost of the mausoleum on the taxpayer.the time it would take to complete and shock new revelations that government engineers had been instructed to construct a single ‘Presidential Mausoleum’ which would contain graves of former presidents, no
